50% of
the membership fees goes to the abc trust fund for alternative educational projects.
Members submit projects and decide by vote how the fund is distributed.
Travel, research, building, maintenance, development projects and grants to
other fundraising projects can all be considered.
Submissions will be posted on the abc-Projects
bulletin board where members will be able to discuss and rate them.
Only members can post projects and vote on the fund distribution.
25% of
the membership fees will support the abc tele-working training project.
This project will use all aspects of electronic publishing as a vehicle to
instruct people in IT and ICT skills.
Emphasis is on unemployed people, in particular women with dependents, obliged
to stay at home.
Trainees will receive instruction on keyboard skills, screen graphics, Desk
Top Publishing applications, Internet applications, information research techniques,
web design.
25% of the membership fees go back into developing the abc book list and service.
